Leopard L400 UltraFAVORITE: Quadruple-sonic Prototype-less Small Airliner
Time and Cost: The Game Changes
• It is time to focus for high-speed flight thanks to an advanced technology: The Leopard L400 UltraFAVORITE.
• You fly faster than a fighter aircraft, cross the Atlantic Ocean in less than two hours with a travel cost around that of a luxury private jet.
• Supersonic transports (SST) reduce your travel time and make your life more productive. In the large cities, if your friend or associate expects to wait you when you will arrive in the morning, then that person will leave for the destination airport in the same time when you take off from the departure. And at the end of the day, when your partner will drop you off at the airport, you may arrive home before the one arrives at home.
• Taking account the current price of jet fuel, the flight time from New York to London would be less than two hours with a round-trip cost around $9,000.

Leopard L400 UltraFAVORITE Flight Times: The Quality of Having a Superior Position.
Regulations & Standards
The Leopard L400 UltraFAVORITE will meet all FAA requirements in matter of SST including the noise and emissions regulations.
Enhanced HD-cam replaces definitively drop nose configuration during the taxiing, the landing and other phase of flight.
The Interior
Propulsion
Twin-engined Aircraft for Sustained Supersonic Flight
The L400 UltraFAVORITE will be powered by two TFR50 "PULSAR" TBCC turbofan-ramjet with variable-cycle engine (VCE) technology.
The TFR50 is an all-new design engine with the capability to cruise at Mach 4.0 in ramjet mode where the afterburning plays a considerable role. During the supercruise, the engine works with a maximum efficiency. The afterburner is also used for takeoff and climb. For any other flight phase like taxiing, approach, and landing, the engine works in low bypass turbofan mode.

Engine Control
Taking account the dual mode capability for high supersonic flight, the TFR50 “PULSAR” adapted full-authority digital engine control (FADEC), or electronic engine controller (EEC), requires about half million of source lines of code (SLoC).
Fuel Systems
Full redundancy and zero-loss of power are among the challenges of Leopard Aerospace in the development of the L400 UltraFAVORITE. The fuel tank arrangement encounters several constraints, standard requirements, and airworthiness regulations on the design achievement in the objective to get the certification.
Avionics Suite
The Leopard commercial avionics suite will be used on the high supersonic L400 UltraFAVORITE airplane by giving accurate information to the pilots in real-time. The avionics system is similar to the military version used on the L30KC UltraMOBILITY MTA. The major common points are the adaptation for high supersonic flight taking account the extreme speed indicator on PFDs, the high-temperature thermal protection (TPS) management around the fuselage, the sonic boom prevention information in order to preserve the environment-friendly air travel.
The avionics suite features touchscreen, synthetic vision system (SVS), other vision option that can display a stereographic projection, and EFBs.
With special propulsion system onboard, Leopard Aerospace and partners hope will be the first FAA/EASA-certified TBCC-based EICAS for commercial supersonic transport use.

Adapted Landing Gear
The L400 UltraFAVORITE will benefit of special rubber for the landing gear wheels, which will then inflated with pure nitrogen for higher stability in pressure.
Aircraft Systems
Electrical Power System for a Supercruiser
Not only the sonic boom is reduced, but in addition, Leopard Aerospace is demonstrating the L400 UltraFAVORITE small airline supercruiser can trend toward a more electric aircraft (MEA), reducing NOx emission from engines.
Final Assembly Line and Rollout
A study of the first L400 UltraFAVORITE final assembly line in the U.S.A. is under development. First proposition the quadruple-sonic prototype-less small airliner was in Louisiana.
